Jankalyan Blood Center, Nashik was set up in the year 1989 with a mission to provide “Safe Blood” to the people of Nashik and now is in its 35th year of uninterrupted service to the society at large. Started by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Jankalyan Samiti (Maharashtra Prant) in 1989 and also supported by Shankaracharya Nyas, Nashik with the aim of providing safe & secure blood to cater to blood requirements in Nashik District.
The Blood Centre is a charitable organisation managed by devoted trustees from different walks of life including professionals and industrialists, who work on an honorary basis. The Blood Centre has its own state-of-the-art premises of about 14,000 sq. ft. which is designed to cater to most of the requirements of the Blood Centre like facilities for blood donation, conducting workshops and seminars, separate area for blood transfusion for Thalassemia affected children.

The Blood Centre is equipped with ultra-modern equipment, apparatus and a laboratory.
It is supported by well-trained and devoted staff of more than 50, including doctors, technicians, Nurses, Camp Managers, social workers, Counselors, and administrative staff. The technical team and other Support Staff is headed by an MD (Path).
Training and orientation programs are conducted on a regular basis for the professional development of the staff members.
The Blood Centre operates under the strict norms prescribed by the Central Government without any kind of deviation, adhering to the extremely stringent licensing policies of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The Soul of Blood Center: Delivering blood samples and blood bags in time !! Blood samples need to be delivered as fast as possible in order to maintain fast turnaround times and ensure sample integrity and thus patient safety !! A fast blood compatibility testing result means a faster treatment which is beneficial for both the patient and the hospital. Reduced waiting time can lead to more happy and satisfied patients.
